Welcome to Quiltable

Whether you're just getting started or you've been quilting for years, we're so glad you're here.

Below are answers to some of the questions we hear most often. If you don't see what you're looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out. We'd love to help.

  • Quiltable is your digital quilting companion, designed to help you spend less time searching and more time sewing. Organize your fabric stash, plan your quilting projects, use built-in quilting calculators, and keep everything you need in one place so you're always ready to start your next quilt.

  • Notebooks, spreadsheets, and paper inventories all have their place, but they aren't always with you when inspiration strikes. Quiltable lives on your phone, so your fabric collection, projects, and quilting tools are always within reach.

Whether you're shopping at your local quilt shop, attending a retreat, or planning your next project from your sewing room, Quiltable helps you see what you already own and make confident decisions without digging through bins or flipping through notebooks.

  • Yes. Protecting your quilting data is important to us. Your fabric collection, projects, and account information are stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure. We use trusted technology providers and security best practices to help keep your information safe.

While no online service can guarantee absolute security, Quiltable is built using the same types of secure technologies trusted by many modern apps and businesses. We continuously work to keep your data protected as Quiltable evolves.Item description

  • Yes! You can use Quiltable on multiple devices as long as you sign in with the same account. Your fabric collection, projects, and other quilting data are securely synced to your account, so whether you're using a new phone or switching between devices, everything will be waiting for you when you sign in.

  • If you cancel your subscription, your quilting data stays right where it is. You'll continue to have access to Quiltable using the free plan, so your fabric collection, projects, and other saved information remain available.

The main difference is that paid features, such as saving calculator results and exporting your data, will no longer be available unless you subscribe again.

If you decide to come back later, your data will still be there waiting for you.

  • Absolutely not! You can add fabric manually without uploading a photo. Every field in Quiltable can be entered by hand if that's what you prefer.

That said, uploading a photo unlocks one of Quiltable's favorite features. Using computer vision, Quiltable can help identify and describe your fabric, making it faster and easier to build your stash. While photos aren't required, they make your collection more visual, easier to browse, and even more enjoyable to use over time.

  • Yes! Android support is absolutely on the Quiltable roadmap. We chose to launch on iPhone first so we could focus on building the best possible experience for our first community of quilters.

As Quiltable grows, adding Android is one of our highest priorities. Every new subscriber helps us invest in new features, improvements, and bringing Quiltable to more quilters, including those on Android.

  • Absolutely! Quiltable was made by a quilter, for quilters, and many of the features in the app exist because of suggestions from our community.

If you have an idea for a new feature, calculator, or improvement, I'd love to hear it. While I can't promise every request will make it into the app, I personally review every suggestion and use your feedback to help shape Quiltable's future.

  • Yes. Quiltable currently requires an internet connection to sign in, sync your data, and keep your fabric collection and projects up to date across your devices.

Offline support is something we'd love to explore in the future, but today an internet connection is required to use the app.

  • Like many quilters, I fell in love with fabric almost as quickly as I fell in love with quilting. Before long, I realized there was no way I could remember every piece of fabric I owned. I'd walk into a quilt shop, thrift store, or estate sale with a new idea, wondering if I already had the perfect fabric waiting for me at home.

I wanted my fabric collection to come with me wherever I went. When I couldn't find a tool built specifically for quilters, I decided to build one.

Quiltable was created to help quilters spend less time searching, spend less time wondering what they own, and spend more time making quilts they love. Every feature is designed with one goal in mind: helping you feel organized, confident, and ready to quilt.
