Quiltable (“Quiltable,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Quiltable mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using Quiltable, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve Quiltable.
a. Information You Provide
When you create an account or use the Services, we may collect:
Email address and authentication credentials
Name (if you choose to provide it)
Fabric, project, stash, and calculator data you enter
Images you upload (such as fabric photos)
App preferences and settings
b. Information Collected Automatically
When you use Quiltable, we may collect:
Device type, operating system, and app version
App usage data (such as features used, screens viewed, and actions taken)
Diagnostic and performance data
c. Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how users interact with Quiltable so we can improve functionality and usability. Analytics data is collected in an aggregated or pseudonymized form and is not used to identify you personally.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Create and manage your account
Provide core app functionality (stash tracking, projects, calculations, and organization)
Store and sync your data across devices
Improve app performance and user experience
Communicate important service-related updates
Enforce our Terms of Service
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Data Storage and Infrastructure (Supabase)
Quiltable uses Supabase as its backend infrastructure provider. Supabase supports:
User authentication
Secure database storage
File storage for uploaded images
Encrypted data transmission
Your data is stored using Supabase’s secure cloud infrastructure and protected by industry-standard security practices. Access to personal data is limited to what is necessary to operate and maintain the Services.
4. Sharing of Information
We only share information in limited circumstances:
Service providers (such as Supabase and analytics providers) that help us operate Quiltable
Legal obligations if required by law, subpoena, or legal process
Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
We do not share personal information for advertising purposes and do not allow third parties to use your data for their own marketing.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with legal, security, or operational obligations. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Quiltable does not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

7. Account and Data Deletion
You may delete your Quiltable account at any time through the app (where available) or by contacting support@quiltable.co.
When an account is deleted:
Personal profile information is removed
Fabric, project, and stash data is deleted
Uploaded images are deleted, subject to limited backup retention
Some information may be temporarily retained where required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
8. Children’s Privacy
Quiltable is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will promptly delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
If you access Quiltable from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
10. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, secure authentication, and restricted internal access. While no system is completely secure, we take data protection seriously.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
